Cathy Buchanan, director of alumni affairs, visited the 50th Anniversary hotels during the week of 9/15-9/20/2013. We have a good selection of hotels near the Centro in a range of prices. All of the hotels are very clean and well maintained. The online booking systems of these hotels do not allow reservations for June 2015, but you can book now as follows: 1) download the hotel reservation form provided below, 2) fill out the form, 3) either fax the form to the hotel, or scan the form and email the scanned form to the hotel. You do not need to provide a fax number, if you are emailing the form to the hotel. You will receive a confirmation from the hotel by fax or email.
Grand Hotel Gianicolo**** This hotel is only a few blocks from the Centro, has spacious, beautiful rooms, nice public areas, and a lovely pool. The breakfast is excellent and includes a full buffet. Hotel La Rovere**** This hotel is more intimate than the Grand Hotel Gianicolo. It is closer to St. Peter's and about 10 minutes walk to the Centro. The rooms are smaller than the Grand Hotel, but very cute and comfortable. A full breakfast is served. There are 28 rooms available. Email: info@hotellarovere.com

Villa Maria*** This hotel is quite near the Centro, very clean, but more basic than the two hotels above. There are 40 rooms and 3 apartments. The cost is very reasonable. Credit card details do not need to be provided until January 2015. Please send an email to the hotel with your name, your arrival and departure dates, and the type of room you would like. Single Room: 70 euros
Double Room - Single use: 70 euros
Twin Room - 2 people: 98 euros
Triple Room - 3 separate twin beds: 128 euros
Quadruple Room - 4 separate twin beds: 143 euros
There are also three apartments available with three separate rooms and two bath rooms each apt for a minimum of 5 people to a maximum of 8 people each apartment. The cost per night x person is 35 euros.
